We all look forward to summer holidays, but there is one small problem with the holidays – parents don’t get any! This makes it difficult to keep your children engaged and active all summer without the help of school; which is why we have compiled a list of 10 things for your kids to do in Bradford and the surrounding area this summer.

#4. Carrot Fest
Every summer Bradford hold’s their annual Carrot Fest. This event offers many children friendly options such as rides, bouncy castles etc. For more information click here.
#5. Outdoor Movies
Every other Tuesday and Thursday in August, the Public Library will host outdoor movies for all ages absolutely free – just bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. For more information click here.
#6. Canada Day Celebration
On July 1st, Bradford will be hosting their annual Canada Day celebration at the Bradford & District Memorial Community Centre. There will be festivities and fireworks later on. For more information on the event, click here.
#7. YMCA Day Camps
The YMCA in Innisfil hosts day camps (as well as overnight camps) that range from ages 6-16. For more information on the YMCA Day Camps, click here.
#8. Bradford Arts Camp
Bradford Art School is offering summer arts camps for children ages 4-13. These 4 or 5 day camp programs run in July and August and are perfect hours for parents working 9-5 shifts! For July camps, click here. For August camps, click here.
#9. 2019 Junior Golf Camp
Bradford Highlands Golf Club is offering a week long camp dedicated to teaching young golfers the game. The camp is available for children ages 7-15.

#10. East Gwillimbury Summer Camps
